Sur Vocational Trainees visit The Wave, Muscat

As part of The Wave, Muscat’s commitment to opening its doors to students who can benefit from visiting the project and meeting with the employees, twenty-two trainees from Sur’s Vocational Training Centre paid a visit to the project yesterday morning. 
Engineer Mahmood Al Amri, Vocational Training Center’s Manager said that the visit comes as a result of the Centre’s continuous search for new fields of educational exploration for trainees, and today’s visit to The Wave, Muscat is an important link in that chain. “We believe The Wave, Muscat is a pioneer development in the heart of Muscat and offers an exceptional opportunity for our trainees to learn about the different aspects of modern construction and architectural techniques.”
“We value The Wave, Muscat’s cooperation in making this visit a success, and we will work on making these trips more frequent in the future, based on the great amount of knowledge and experience our trainees acquire through exploring these prominent developments. It also indicates The Wave, Muscat’s unwavering desire to strengthen ties with different educational establishments in the Sultanate.”
Trainees then visited The Wave’s Sales Centre and familiarized themselves with the new show apartments and learnt about different architectural methods applied. Then they visited the construction site accompanied by a team of engineers who explained the different stages of the project and other engineering issues associated.
The Wave, Muscat has received 5 prestigious international and regional design awards in 2007 from CNBC Arabian Properties and Homes Overseas. From CNBC Arabian Properties we received 4 awards for Best Development Design, Best Marina Design, Best Apartment Design, Best Golf Course Design. Homes Overseas Awarded The Wave, Muscat the Best Luxury Development award.
The Wave, Muscat, is a joint venture between Oman’s Waterfront Investments, National Investment Funds Company and UAE based Majid Al Futtaim Group.
