The Wave Wins Gold at Web Awards
The Wave, Muscat Wins 4th Consecutive Gold Award for Best Real Estate Website
Muscat, March, 1, 2009: The Wave, Muscat grabbed again the Gold Award for best website in Real Estate category for the forth consecutive year during the Oman Web Awards Ceremony held recently at Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat.
Despite being award winning for the last 3 years, The Wave, Muscat rebuilt its web-site in the second half of 2008 that made it more interactive and easier to operate with the aim of making the project more accessible to existing and new customers alike.

On collecting the Award, Abdullah Al Shidi, Deputy CEO, The Wave, Muscat said: “We are delighted to have won this award for the forth consecutive year. Despite winning for the last 3 years our priority is to give the easiest, quickest and most efficient accessibility to information about our project.”

Oman Web Awards aims to promote the spirit of web designers to meet professional and international standards, to promote intellectual and production opportunities, as well as to develop an interactive proactive and reactive community that aims at providing recognition to this sector in the most superlative way in order to encourage all sectors to showcase their websites and to be more involved in IT.
Recently, The Wave, Muscat won 5 prestigious awards in different categories from Homes Overseas Awards held in London, all recognizing the remarkable contribution that it is making in changing the real estate landscape in Oman. The awards recognize the very best developments in various categories from around the world.
The Wave, Muscat is being developed through a joint venture comprising Oman’s Waterfront Investments (representing the Government of the Sultanate of Oman), National Investment funds Company (representing the Omani Pension Funds), and the UAE-based Majid Al Futtaim Group.
